A bit of a vacation

The Rorings travelled west for a week with us at the end of July. That was my finals week, but I was able to do a few things with them. 

 We did a little 24th of July fireworks. . . .  a few days late.

We went up to the Olympic Park in Park City.  My parents played with the toddlers on a near by playground while we rode the Zipline a few times. This is a picture of Erin. We also rode their version of the Alpine slides. Keoni was old enough to go on that, he thought it was so fun. Just in case you want to go, here are some fun facts that may influence your driving, it did mine. The sleds can not go faster then 20 miles per hour; the sleds can not fly out of the slides. 

My dad took us up to see the bobsled tracks and Kyra wanted a picture pretending to push a bobsled and Lily-bean copied her. It wasn't exact, but it was pretty stinkin' cute.

She also had her picture taken on a Luge board (I don't know the technical name), however, it was Keoni who copied her this time. 

I had a lovely time. It was a wonderful way to spend the day after all my tests were complete.
